Brian Hennessy is in his sixth year as an associate sports information director at Clemson. The Clemson native previously worked as a student and graduate assistant in the sports information office for six years (1995-00).

Hennessy is responsible for all sports information operations for baseball and is the secondary contact for football. He has written and edited the baseball guide (1998-00,03-07) and football guide (2002-07). He has received numerous honors from CoSIDA, including a #2 national ranking for his 2005 baseball guide and a #4 national ranking for his 2000 baseball guide. The 2005 baseball media guide cover was also rated best in the nation.

Hennessy, who also has been responsible for layout and editing of the football gameday programs since 2002, teamed with Tim Bourret to rank in the top-five in the country for both the program series and football media guide in 2002 and 2003.

Hennessy, 31, also worked as an engineer in Houston, TX from 2001-02, working for Kimley-Horn & Associates along with R.G. Miller Engineers.

He graduated from Clemson with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering (`98) and later received a master's degree in transportation engineering (`00). He also graduated from Daniel High School (`94), where he played baseball and basketball. Hennessy, born January 6, 1976 in Woodbury, NJ, is single.
