Head Coach Jack Leggett on Harman: "Casey is a freshman from Vermont who might be one of the players who improved the most over the fall. He looked good early, but then he looked really good late in the fall. His arm is getting stronger. He has the chance to have a good slider. He is a competitor, and I think he's going to help us out as a freshman."
BEFORE CLEMSON: Gatorade Player-of-the-Year and Louisville Slugger Player-of-the-Year as a senior at South Burlington High School...first-team all-state selection and picked to the Vermont North-South All-Star game as a senior...#1 prospect in Vermont by Perfect Game...played on the state championship team as a sophomore and junior...lettered four times in baseball and three times in basketball at South Burlington High, where he was coached by Patrick Bose...played at the same high school that Jack Leggett attended; Leggett's baseball team won the state title as a junior (1971) and senior (1972), the school's last state championships until 2005.
