Head Coach Jack Leggett on Nester: "John is a freshman catcher who has gotten better with every swing and every practice in the fall. He has become much stronger and his arm has improved. His bat has improved as well, and he is one of the most improved players on our team coming off the fall. I think he has a chance to help Doug (Hogan) and earn some innings for us."
