Head Coach Jack Leggett on J. Smith: "Jameson is a lefthanded hitter who has some versatility defensively. He hit the ball well in the fall. He can catch, play third, or play first. He has to get a little more consistent in all that he does, and once he figures that out, he can be a really good player here at Clemson."
BEFORE CLEMSON: City and County All-Star selection at Clovis West High School...lettered three times in baseball at Clovis West High, where he was coached by Tim Thiessen.
