Overview: Sophomore forward who started 17 games as a first-year freshman in 2004-05...looks to improve on solid season, he is capable of helping the Tigers in many areas in 2005-06...third on the team in three-point shooting as a freshman, he made 39 threes, including the game winner in overtime to beat rival South Carolina...solid free throw shooter who had a streak of 15 consecutive made free throws at one stretch during the season, the longest streak by a Clemson player in 2004-05...from the Washington DC area, but he came to Clemson from South Kent Prep School in Connecticut...a top 100 player out of high school who was ranked 87th by Insidehoop.com and 99th by Prepstars during his final year of high school....chose Clemson over Arizona, Boston College, DePaul, Penn State and Georgetown.

In 2004-05: Sixth on the Clemson team in scoring as a freshman, he was second among the rookies behind Cliff Hammonds...fifth on the club in scoring in ACC games with a 6.8 average, above his 6.4 average in non-conference games...finished the year with 39 three-point goals, third on the team in 2004-05 and fifth best among freshmen in Clemson history...outstanding free throw shooter, he made 24-29 and his .828 percentage was second best on the Tigers team...ACC Rookie of the Week on January 23, he had consecutive double figure scoring games against North Carolina and Virginia and had 29 points for the two games on 11-22 overall shooting, including 7-14 three-point goals....scored the game winner at South Carolina on a three-point goal with 3.4 seconds left...he had been 2-15 on three-point shots prior to that attempt, but he shot the game winner with confidence...finished the overtime game with seven points and five rebounds...played well in the ACC Tournament, he had 13 points in the event that was held near his hometown of Baltimore, MD...followed that with 10 points and five rebounds in the NIT game against Texas A&M so he had 23 points in the three postseason games...starter in 17 of the 32 games overall, he started 17 consecutive games from December 1, 2004 through January 29, 2005...came off the bench for the last 12 games of the season...had seven double figure scoring games, three as a starter and four as a reserve...scored 36 points in a three-game period from Jan. 19-26 when he hit 8-19 three-point shots....had 19 points in the three wins over Maryland.

Best Games of 2004-05: Big part of the win at Florida State, he had career high tying 15 points, including 6-6 from the line....big contributor to win at Maryland with eight points on 2-3 shooting, he was also 2-2 from the line and did not have a turnover in 14 minutes....had 14 points off the bench against Miami (FL) on Feb. 12, he made four three-point goals in the first eight minutes of the game...had 12 points in the win over Georgia, all came on three-point goals, as he made 4-7 from long range in the BiLO Center in Greenville, SC...had six steals in just 22 minutes against Georgia Tech, including five in the first half when he gave the Tigers energy off the bench...the six steals were one off the Clemson record and tied for the most by a Tiger player under Oliver Purnell....had season high 15 points at Virginia, he made 6-12 shots overall, including 3-7 from three-point range....played a season high 31 minutes and had just one turnover....had 14 points against North Carolina on January 19 when he had 14 points on 5-10 field goal shooting, including 4-7 on three-pointers...he had made two three-point goals in a game just once all year, then hit four against the Tar Heels....made first career start in ACC vs. Big Ten Challenge game against Ohio State on ESPN, he played 27 minutes and scored three points, but his three-point shot opened the scoring for the Tigers and got Clemson off to a good start....had first double figure scoring game of the season against East Carolina, he made 4-7 field goals, including 2-4 from three-point land....started career with six points, four assists and four steals in opener against Hampton. ...nearly duplicated those stats against a fine Boston College team, he had six points, four assists and three steals against the Eagles in the third game....made 3-6 shots from the field in that game....finished the year with 10 points on 4-8 shooting at Texas A&M when he played 25 minutes of the bench...also had five rebounds in that game, he high total in the last 10 games of the year.
