Joe Net Berry was a Hall of Fame selection from the 1935-44 era. He was captain of Clemson Hall of Famer Jess Neely's 1936 team. A starting tailback in 1935 and 1936, Berry was the leading rusher and passer in the 1935 season. A native of Union, SC, he was an honorable mention All-American that year.
Net Berry was inducted into the Clemson Hall of Fame in 1981.
