Coach Davis on Stokes: "Lakeia `Chicken Bone' Stokes is a superb athlete. With guard skills in a forward's body, Chicken can score inside over guards and pull forwards away from the basket. If Stokes can play with consistency, the sky is the limit for her."

Why Clemson? "Clemson University was one of the two schools that I had to choose from. I made the decision to become a Lady Tiger before I even took my official visit to the other University. I knew I wanted to come to Clemson as soon as I left from my official visit. I wanted Clemson to be my home for the next four years. The campus was so beautiful, and everyone was so friendly. I felt a connection with everyone I met. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and I loved Vickery Hall."
